Health Literacy and Clear Communication eCourse
Improving the capacity of oncology patients to understand information related to their diagnosis, treatment, and post-treatment follow-up is key to closing the gaps that prevent health equity. A lack of health literacy, especially in underserved populations, can result in patients having difficulty understanding and interpreting information about their disease. This dynamic eCourse provides cancer care team members with the tools they need to be clear and concise in communications with patients and improve health equity in various situations.

Through this 30-minute eCourse you will learn actionable strategies to:

• Translate complex oncology concepts into plain language
