This two-part, interactive virtual program will provide foundational knowledge and tools needed to effectively measure progress and demonstrate the value of change or new initiatives using a return on investment (ROI) framework. Attendees are encouraged to bring a practice change or improvement idea they are currently working on or planning to implement, as the sessions are designed to provide practical, hands-on guidance tailored to their specific projects. 

Who should attend? Oncology practice administrators, quality improvement staff, clinical leaders, data managers, finance officers, and others responsible for evaluating programs, tracking measures, or communicating impact.  

Learning Objectives:  

Session 1 – By the end of the session, participants will be able to: 

1. Understand the role of measurement within improvement or practice change 

2. Define a family of measures to track improvement or change over time 

3. Understand how measurement can be leveraged at various points in the improvement journey 

Session 2 – By the end of the session, participants will be able to: 

1. Describe a framework for evaluating return on investment (ROI) for quality improvement 

2. Identify a set of measures to evaluate ROI in their own practice
