The ACCC Multidisciplinary Advanced Cutaneous Squamous Cell Carcinoma (cSCC) Care education project series is designed to support the cancer care team in diagnosing, testing, and treating patients with advanced cSCC. This two-part series includes webinars developed in conjunction with the multidisciplinary care team who have deep expertise in caring for patients with cSCC as well as high-risk non-melanoma skin cancers.

Moffit Cancer Center Presents: Multidisciplinary Advanced Cutaneous Squamous Cell Carcinoma Care
Nikhil Khushalani, MD
Vice Chair, Department of Cutaneous Oncology, MOFFITT CANCER CENTER
Dr. Khushalani is the Vice Chair for the Department of Cutaneous Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr. Khushalani’s clinical interest is the development of novel therapeutics for people diagnosed with melanoma and other skin cancers. He is greatly interested in the treatment of uveal melanoma, and melanoma that has metastasized to the brain. Dr. Khushalani is interested in research on angiogenesis in melanoma and the translation of findings into clinical therapeutics. He is studying the economic impact of new melanoma drugs on healthcare (pharmacoeconomics) with an aim to devise strategies to reduce cost. Dr. Khushalani earned his MD from Topiwala National Medical College, University of Bombay, in Maharashtra, India. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo, where he also served as Chief Resident. He completed a Medical Oncology Fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in 2002. Dr. Khushalani was Assistant Professor of Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and, prior to joining the Moffitt team, was Associate Professor of Medicine at SUNY, Buffalo, where he was the Section Chief of Soft Tissue and Melanoma Medicine, and Director of the IL-2 Program.
Lucia Seminario-Vidal, MD, PhD
DERMATOLOGIST, DEPARTMENT OF CUTANEOUS ONCOLOGY, MOFFITT CANCER CENTER
Dr. Lucia Seminario-Vidal is a board-certified dermatologist in the Department of Cutaneous Oncology at Moffitt and an assistant professor in the University of South Florida (USF) Department of Dermatology. She is the associate director of dermatology clinical research, and the director of the dermatology consult service providing inpatient dermatology services at Moffitt. Dr. Seminario specializes in general and complex dermatology, with a special interest in cutaneous lymphomas, drug eruptions, cutaneous diseases in immunocompromised patients, and skin cancers. Dr. Seminario is also the lead dermatologist of the multidisciplinary cutaneous lymphoma clinic at Moffitt. In this multidisciplinary clinic, each patient’s care plan is reviewed by a highly expert team of physicians with extensive, focused training in their area of specialty, giving them additional insights and knowledge to help make the best treatment decisions. Dr. Seminario enjoys working with medical students and residents in clinic as well as in scholarly activities and research projects. During her career, she has received numerous awards related to her clinical and research endeavors. She is widely published, and has presented her work at diverse local, regional, national, and international meetings. She has developed investigator initiated studies and has participated in more than 30 clinical trials. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and an active member of the International Cutaneous Lymphoma Society, the United States Cutaneous Lymphoma Society, and the Society of Investigative Dermatology. She participates in national committees, including the scientific committee of the Society of Dermatology Hospitalists and the external grants committee of the Women Dermatologic Society.
Evan Wuthrick, MD
RADIATION ONCOLOGIST, DEPARTMENT OF RADIATION ONCOLOGY, MOFFITT CANCER CENTER
Dr. Wuthrick specializes in radiation therapy for skin cancers such as melanoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and basal cell carcinoma. He is also clinically interested in gastrointestinal cancers, including esophageal, stomach and liver cancers, and cancers of the pancreas, colon, rectum and anus. Dr. Wuthrick is interested in the combination of high dose per fraction radiation therapy and immunotherapy in melanoma and Merkel cell carcinoma. He is involved in numerous early phase clinical trials exploring the role of MAPK pathway inhibitors with radiation therapy. Dr. Wuthrick has a leadership role in the NCI-sponsored cooperative groups NRG, Alliance for Oncology, and SWOG, which conduct large practice-changing clinical trials in cutaneous and gastrointestinal cancers.

Gregory Biedermann, MD
RADIATION ONCOLOGIST, RADIATION ONCOLOGY, ELLIS FISCHEL CANCER CENTER
Dr. Gregory Biedermann is a radiation oncologist who has been at Ellis Fischel Cancer Center for the past three years. He sees adult and pediatric patients diagnosed with cancer. His areas of interest are head and neck cancers, brain cancers and stereotactic radiation. Dr. Biedermann performs the majority of brachytherapy, also called internal radiation therapy, that is available at Ellis Fischel.
Tabitha Galloway, MD
ENT/RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGEON, OTOLARYNGOLOGY, ELLIS FISCHEL CANCER CENTER
Dr. Tabitha Galloway is an ear, nose and throat physician at Ellis Fischel Cancer Center who specializes in the surgical treatment of patients with head and neck cancers- including those of the mouth, throat, voice box, neck, skin, jaw bones and salivary glands. She also specializes in reconstruction of the head and neck with micro-vascular procedures to transplant various parts of the body to the head and neck to rebuild defects after cancer treatments, trauma or other causes. Dr. Galloway is part of the multi-disciplinary endocrine program at the University of Missouri for patients with surgical needs of the thyroid and parathyroid glands. In addition she offers surgical salivary gland disorders and offers minimally invasive salivary gland surgery known as sialendoscopy. Dr. Galloway offers clinical and research trials to her patients.
Nicholas Golda, MD
MOHS SURGEON, DERMATOLOGY, ELLIS FISCHEL CANCER CENTER
Dr. Nicholas Golda is a fellowship-trained Mohs and dermatologic surgeon whose practice focuses on the treatment of skin cancer. Mohs surgery is a specialized procedure that provides the highest cure rate for skin cancer while also minimizing the amount of skin that must be removed to treat the cancer. Combining this conservative and precise technique with advanced skill and training in facial reconstruction following the removal of skin cancer, Dr. Golda is able to provide excellent cosmetic and functional results following the treatment of skin cancer on the face. Dr. Golda is the only fellowship-trained academic Mohs surgeon in mid-Missouri and has been recognized nationally as an expert in the surgical treatment of skin cancer.
