Then, hear a presentation on the Summer Healthcare Experience (SHE) at Livestrong Cancer Institutes, a program which hosts high school juniors and seniors who identify as female to participate in a week-long, immersion program that introduces them to cancer biology, research, and care. Alternative Payment Models in Cancer Care Workshop 1:00 – 4:00 pm EDT
As part of ACCC’s new Alternative Payment Models Coalition, this three-hour virtual workshop will take a deep dive into the current landscape of alternative payment models - including OCMs, MIPS, ACOs, and more - to address concerns about lack of preparation to perform in these payment models, patient and provider access to the latest treatments, infrastructure considerations, and long-term sustainability. Participants can expect to learn from experts in the field, as well as their peers, through a program which will incorporate didactic presentations and interactive breakout sessions.
